Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Smith Clears the Air About Recent Assault at Disney Theme Park
Things aren’t looking so spectacular for Pretty Ricky alumnus Spectacular Smith.
According to WESH.com, the R&B heartthrob turned business tycoon was recently arrested at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for allegedly striking one of its cast members.
The events that sparked the debacle happened to be a sneezing gesture and an utter of the word “coronavirus” that Smith made while walking to one of the theme park’s rides. Smith was reportedly then asked to leave the line twice but refused and grew irate, landing two punches on the Disney employee.
As stated by WESH’s article, the unnamed man was “taken to the hospital as a precaution,” and Smith was hauled away in a police car, later posting bond.
However, there are two sides to every story, and Smith’s side is a totally different one. In fact, he’s standing by the fact that it’s completely false!
Subsequent to the incident hitting major media outlets, Smith and his fiancée, model Pretty Jamee, who was also in attendance with their young son, both spoke out to clear the air.
“The more success you have as a Black man, the bigger target you are,” Spectacular Smith posted on his Instagram story. “The media will put out a one-sided story, even without the facts, because they enjoy demonizing our culture and bringing us down. It’s sad.”
Prior to Smith setting the record straight, his fiancée had a few things to get off of her chest under The Shade Room’s post, making it known that Smith was actually assaulted first and would never joke about something as serious as COVID-19. She also said that the guy was unmasked and hadn’t even identified himself as a worker.
Following her series of comments, she shared a photo of Smith seemingly safe and sound… at home.
It’s certainly an unfortunate situation. We’re hoping that justice is served and that both parties will be able to come to some sort of resolution.
