Tired of your bedroom furnishings and cannot even read books or play with the first deposit casino bonus there? Here are useful tips to help you update your bedroom decor without spending a lot of money.

Change Your Bedding

With a new set of bed linens, it’s easy to freshen up your bedroom décor. Complex combinations of fabrics, colors and patterns will decorate not only the bed, but also the entire room. So be afraid to combine old sheets and duvet covers with newly purchased pillowcases to create a different atmosphere without spending a fortune.

Decorate the Walls

Another easy way to transform a bedroom is to decorate a blank wall with pictures, mirrors, photos, panels, plates – the list is limited only by your imagination. In search of decorations, stroll through flea markets, look in old photo albums or open your grandmother’s trunk. You’re sure to find items there that will not only complement your bedroom décor, but also provide fond memories.

Accent Wall

A contrasting wall in the bedroom can not only transform the bedroom, but also affect the perception of the space. For example, panoramic wallpaper behind the headboard will create an additional perspective and visually expand the boundaries of the room. A similar effect can be achieved if you paint the wall opposite the entrance in a deeper, richer shade.

Give New Life to Old Things

New furnishings can freshen up your bedroom. Yet, if you do not want to spend time and money to buy furniture and decorations, try to find a new use for old things. For example, stools can be used as bedside tables.

Make It Tropical

House plants are known to have a beneficial effect on the climate in the house. And the presence of living plants in the bedroom will not only decorate it externally, but also benefit you. But there are some nuances in the choice of plants:

  • Do not choose plants which smell too strong, even if they are pleasant. They can give you a headache in the morning and cause sleeping problems. Pest plants that you should not keep in the bedroom are lilies and ferns (which release carbon dioxide) and dieffenbachia (these “vampire” plants are said to take away energy).
  • Camellias, for example, look a lot like roses, but they emit almost no scent. Neither do violets or the beautiful white spathiphyllums,
  • There are even useful plants: aloe and chlorophytum (they purify the air as much as possible) and geranium (it kills pathogenic germs).

Lightning

Your bedroom is meant to relax, so it especially needs proper lighting. Do not limit yourself to ceiling lights. Additional built-in lighting, table lamps or sconces can help create different moods depending on the situation. And of course don’t forget about candles!

Decorate Your Bed With Cushions

Bring color into your bedroom with brightly colored pillows! Square, round, rectangular, linen, velvet, plain or with a pattern – choose according to the general style and color scheme of the room.
