2021 XXL Freshman Cover Revealed With 4 Women For First Time

The 2021 XXL Freshman cover has been revealed and for the first time ever the class includes four female artists. This year’s class is eleven artists deep and features some already well known artists and a couple others who have been making a name for themselves in recent years.

The 2021 XXL Freshman cover includes Morray, Iann Dior, Lakeyah, DDG, 42 Dugg, Rubi Rose, Blxst, Pooh Shiesty, Toosii, Coi Leray and Flo Milli.

The Freshman issue hits stands everywhere on July 7. Some have called this one of the more underwhelming classes, but as always, only time will tell how the 2021 XXL Freshman class actually does.

The XXL Freshman cover has been released since 2007. They took 2008 off, but returned in 2009 and have released a new freshman class every year since. Notable artists to make the cover are Kendrick, Lamar, J.Cole, Nipsey Hussle, Big Sean and more. Nicki Minaj and Drake famously declined the cover.
