The new NBC series, “Grand Crew” premiered in December with a special holiday premiere. The comedy is written, produced and showrun by Insecure alum, Phil Augusta Jackson. Another Insecure alum, Kinsey Young also writes for the show. Jackson signed an overall deal with Universal Television back in October. He previously wrote for Brooklyn 99. Dan Goor is the co-creator of the series. Here’s your chance to meet the cast of Grand Crew on NBC, a comedy with an all Black cast, about friends.

Echo Kellum
Chicago bred Echo has done voice over work on “Rick & Morty” and been featured on several shows. In addition to being on the Grand Crew cast he will be featured on the series, “The Old Man” on FX, which stars Jeff Bridges.
Extremely talented, he is a photographer and makes music.

Wyatt
Justin Cunningham
Wyatt is the married friend.
Justin is mental health advocate who is into fitness and wellness. He is also a boxer. Justin can also play the guitar and we’re told is a talented singer as well.
Justin graduated from the prestigious Julliard School with an MFA in 2017. He’s since appeared on Broadway and co-starred in Ava Duvernay’s “When They See Us” on Netflix.

Anthony
Aaron Jennings
Aaron Plays “Anthony”, an accountant, a Vice President at his company, so very successful and very much into his work.
Aaron has appeared in film and television but Anthony is his biggest role to date. Soon he will also be recurring in the Amazon series “A League of Their Own,” based on the feature film.

Carl Tart
The co-host of the basketball-centric podcast “The Flagrant Ones,” Carl has been making his name known for a while now with his acting and writing. He’s written for “Connecting,” “Kenan,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Ghosted,” “Brockmire” and “The New Negroes,” among other shows. He has also appeared in “The Good Place,” “Arrested Development,” “Transparent,” “Lethal Weapon” and “Comedy Bang Bang,” to name a few.

Nicole Byer
In December, her Netflix special, Big Beautiful Weirdo premiered. She comes from a world of improv and stand-up comedy as a alum of the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade. Nicole is also the host of Netflix’s Emmy Award-nominated competition baking series “Nailed It!” She’s a busy busy woman, who also does voice over work for several shows, and will voice the character of Susie Carmichael’s mom, Lucy, in the upcoming Paramount+ reboot of Nickelodeon’s “Rugrats.”
Nicole is also hosting the new season of “Wipeout” with John Cena. Additionally, her voice can be heard on several podcasts! Did we mention that she’s booked and busy!!!

Grasie Mercedes
A late edition to the show, Grasie doesn’t appear in the show’s pilot episode, but she brings some extra feminine energy to the Grand Crew cast.
One of many actor/writer/podcasters on the show, she’s very talented in her own right. She’s New York bred, but currently lives in Los Angeles. Frasie is of Dominican decent.
She has previously appeared in “9-1-1,” “Good Trouble,” “Southland,” and “The Affair,” among others.
