Happy MLK Day! This man may have been recognized for his renowned work for Black communities all across the globe, but he was also celebrated for his immense amount of wisdom. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quotes are many of which a lot of us stand by today.

Because of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we live in a world where little Black girls and little Black boys are able to just BE without the worry of being FREE.

Because of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we live in a world where the volume of our history is no longer being silenced by the hate of white supremacy.

Because of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we live in a world where seats don’t have to be sacrificed, and sipping water doesn’t have to be separated by the sickness of segregation.

We are where we are today because of a social icon.

Oh, what a time to be alive, and we owe it all to… a King.
