Vince Staples has released his new single, a Mustard produced first offering from his forthcoming album. The upcoming album, Ramona Park Broke My Heart will be released in April. The album is an ode to his hometown, Ramona Park in Long Beach California. The Vince Staples Ramona Park Broke My Heart album, will be his 5th solo studio project.
The upcoming Ramona Park Broke My Heart album will follow Vince’s 2021 self-titled album, which was produced entirely by Kenny Beats.
Vince shared that the two albums were actually recorded at the same time and that this album offers a few more answers than the former project was able to. Listen to “Magic” below, the first taste of what’s the come.
Of the album title, Staples says, “It’s symbolic of home. And everyone has a home. Even though it’s very personal to me, everyone can relate to it. That’s why I thought it would work for this chapter.”
Staples recently began his run as supporting act on Tyler, the Creator’s 34-date North American Call Me If You Get Lost tour, which kicked off February 8th and also features Kali Uchis and Teezo Touchdown.
