Ari Lennox’s Dreamville mixtape songs are everything! Dreamville Records dropped D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape in collaboration with DJ Drama and some of the label’s heavy hitters.

According to Uproxx, “D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape arrives with 15 songs and appearances from the entire Dreamville crew which includes Cole, Ari Lennox, JID, Earthgang, Cozz, Bas, Lute, and Omen. Additionally, 2 Chainz, ASAP Ferg, Young Nudy, G Perico, Reason, Kenny Mason, and Sheck Wes also appear on the new project.”

Since I’m not big on rap like I used to be, I gravitated toward Ari Lennox’s Dreamville Mixtape songs, “Blackberry Sap” and “Coming Down.” Ari Lennox didn’t disappoint.

Rated RnB reported that

“On Coming Down, inspired by Rose Royce’s I’m Going Down, Lennox confronts a lover whose behavior is negatively impacting their relationship as he continues using opioids… Coming Down” was co-produced by her Dreamville labelhead J.Col, WU10 and DZL.
Blackberry Sap, a song Lennox teased in October 2020, was produced by J. White Did It.  Coming Down and Blackberry Sap should hold fans over until Lennox is ready to release her sophomore album. Although a release date has not been announced yet, Lennox confirmed it will arrive in 2022.”

Fans are feeling Ari Lennox’s Dreamville Mixtape songs as well. One fan even posted herself dancing to Blackberry Sap, to which Lennox responded, “fuck it up beautiful.”

Dreamville Records’ D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape comes just in time for the Dreamsville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. According to Billboard,

“The jam-packed mixtape comes just days before Dreamville Festival, which is set to take over Dorothy Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 2 and 3.
The event’s highly anticipated return will feature high-energy performances from the Dreamville squad, plus Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Jeezy, T.I., Ja Rule, Ashanti, Kehlani, Moneybagg Yo, Bia, Rico Nasty, Wale WizKid and more. J. Cole will headline the festival to close out the weekend. Tickets are still available to purchase here.
For those unable to attend in person, the festival will be streamed live on Prime Video, the Amazon Music App and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch.

If Ari Lennox’s Dreamville mixtape songs are this good, I look forward to what her new album has in store for fans. Listen to her new songs below:
