Actor Sinqua Walls made his start on the 50Verse over on the Starz series, ‘Power‘.  The actor’s next role will be his biggest role yet, starring alongside rapper Jack Harlow in the White Men Can’t Jump remake.  Sinqua will take on the role of Sidney Deane, who was originally played by Wesley Snipes.

Ron Shelton’s 1992 film, White Men Can’t Jump starred Snipes, Woody Harrellson and Rosie Perez. The film just celebrated it’s 30th anniversary. The trio recently reunited at the Oscars.

Walls took to IG to share the news of his role in the White Men Can’t Jump remake. As part of his post he shared, “They Never said it was Easy!! They Just said it would be worth it. Beyond..Beyond..Excited!! To go on this journey w/some amazingly talented Artist, & Honor some GREATS that came before me!!”

It remains to be seen if Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow are a comparable duo, as they were in the original film.  Didn’t even know I needed an updated White Men Can’t Jump movie until I found out this news.

Kenya Barris wrote the script for the new film.  It is being directed by veteran music video director Calmatic.

In addition to ‘Power‘, Walls also starred in BET’s ‘American Soul‘ as Don Cornelius. He already has two films that are expected to hit theaters this year.
