Yesterday, social media was abuzz about a video that surfaced featuring newly turned comedian T.I., engaging in a back in forth with comedian Lauren Knight. Today, T.I. spoke about his recent outburst on her in a video he shared. The rapper also tried to put an end to the conversation with a bit of positivity.
In a clip that’s been shared all over the internet, T.I. seems to be berating the comedian following a joke about his sexual assault allegations. He confronted her on stage, at one point grabbing the mic from her. Knight was hosting the open mic event, which T.I. apparently performed at.
Here is a clip of the exchange between T.I. and Lauren:

Lauren later took to her IG to break the situation down for fans who only saw brief clips
Lauren Knight being able to provide receipts for T.I. reminds us of the situation Ryan Leslie found himself in when he promised $1 million dollars for the return of his stolen laptop. That didn’t end well for Ryan, at least not in the immediate.
While social media has had a range of opinions after the news of the incident surfaced online, T.I. decided to let everyone know that it was not as so serious. In a clip posted on his Instagram account, T.I. spoke about his recent outburst on the comedian.
“I am here to protect you and encourage you. I am not here to do anything harmful. I love you; I support you.” He said. Here is the full clip of T.I. making amends with Lauren Knight:

He also followed up the video with a shout-out to Lauren Knight and a prayer wishing her well in her endeavor to use her voice for laughter.
Fans and Instagram users who have seen his post did not expect the drama to turn into something positive after the T.I. outburst at Lauren. They thought the issue was a sequel to Will Smith and Chris Rock’s saga. However, many seemed to be impressed with the way he handled the whole situation.
Some also warned against joking about sensitive areas of people’s life.
Others were not at all impressed by T.I.
TI is too comfortable invading Lauren Knight’s personal space during that comedy show. Like dude, stop touching her 🤢

At the end of the video when Lauren Knight says “comedy’s hard” and he replies “it aint that hard” makes my blood boil. Like tell or write an actual joke T.I. and then tell me it’s ‘not hard’ Fuck him.

Sabrina Peterson originally came out about assault allegations against T.I. last year and that resulted in other women speaking out. Comedian Lauren Knight stood up for herself at her show, & Sabrina loved that. T.I. did way too much here. I have more info on @HipHopVibe1. https://t.co/lpqEPuNQGM
