While it seems to be only for the high-end clientele that Dolce & Gabbana caters to, that is not necessarily the case. It begins at the membership that gathers every year for the collection fashion show, where members are wowed with combinations of fashion and art that inspire them to take their praises to their audiences. Members are usually celebrities that have a heavy influence, so when their followers see what they are wearing to the show and their favorite runway highlights, the followers will be retweeting like crazy, leaving reviews, and might even be trying to recreate some of the things that are shared with them.

The Alta Moda show does not stay in Italy. It has such a rich travel history for having existed for such a short time. When the pandemic started in 2020, the show had to go virtual, as it was not safe to host such an event at the time. Still, in a time of quarantine and low spirits, the collection continued to inspire, though it was kept under lock and key. Only the members who had special access could see the entirety of the collection for 2020 on the Dolce & Gabbana website. When the collection show was hosted in public once again in 2021, it was hosted in Venice and an emphasis was put on the next generation, with the daughters of members wearing the coveted pieces as they quite literally walked into their future with Dolce & Gabbana.
Usually, popular fashion events go ignored by the general public, unless the collections feature pieces that are outlandish or strange. However, since the goal of Alta Moda is to combine luxury and art and make it fashion, people are inspired to do the same, even if they do not have access to the same material. As a high-end lifestyle brand, Alta Moda allows anyone to bring the luxury lifestyle into their lives. There is no telling what will come from the 2023 Alta Moda show, and though the 2022 show has just been celebrated, people are already on the edges of their seats, waiting for more.
