Originally a spinoff of ABC’s ‘Black-ish,’ ‘Grown-ish’ is set for its fifth season and we are ready. Confirmed by Freeform on July 6 with a trailer, Grownish season 5 will be back on your screens this July. The Grownish Season 5 cast has also been disclosed, and here’s what to expect.
Surprisingly, some of the cast of season 5 of Grownish will be new faces as not all the members from last season will be returning.
Luca (Luka Sabbat), Jazz (Chlöe), Vivek (Jordan Buhat), Ana (Francia Raisa) and Nomi (Emily Arlook) are the cast members that appeared in season 4 who will be leaving.
Also, six new faces will be joining season 5 – “This Is What You Came For”. The college set series is to consist of only eight episodes.

Junior and his group arrive to start their own college career by enrolling at Cal U. while Zoey and the group are enjoying life after graduation.
Returning to Cal U to accompany Junior on his first day of classes, Zoey soon discovers that she might be missing her time there more than she had previously admitted. In addition, Junior attends Doug’s White Party to get away from dorm life after getting to know his new classmates.
Meet The Cast of Season 5 of Grownish
The cast members of Grown-ish that will be returning in season 5 include Zoey Johnson played by Yara Shahidi, Aaron Jackson by Trevor Jackson and Doug by Diggy Simmons. Meanwhile, Marcus Scribner who plays Zoey’s brother, “Junior” will join as a regular.
Grown-ish Season 5 returns on Wednesday, July 20. You can stream on Hulu from July 21.
