Comedic Rockstar Kevin Hart has a talk show called Hart To Heart that airs on the streaming service Peacock. This show is much like other one-on-one talk shows, except Kevin chooses a celebrity guest to sit down with a glass of wine and have a candid conversation about whatever comes to mind, no scripts and no pre-interviews. He has had former guests such as Miley Cyrus, Don Cheadle, Nick Cannon, and more recently Pete Davidson. The latest episode of Heart To Hart aired July 14, 2022, on Peacock, in which Kevin sat down to interview none other than the GOAT Jay Z!
Jay Z has been considered a genius and the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in hip-hop since the early 2000s. Any time Jay Z sists down to do an interview, the entire Culture is there to listen, and this interview was no different.
Many Jay Z fans posted clips of the interview with Kevin Hart to their Twitter accounts and 3 very important clips continue to circulate the social media platform. In this first clip, Kevin asks Jay if he is in aww of his accomplishments. Jay Z tells him it amazes him sometimes to look and see how far he has come. He talks about how Muhammed Ali inspired him as a kid to be confident and believe in himself.

In the second clip that is circulating, Jay Z talks about how he has said many profound things in this music and professed many proverbs but has not always lived them. In this last clip, Jay Z explains that sometimes he is unable to hop on a verse for an artist because he is too busy, and he’ll have to say no for that reason. He also lets us know, he does not ask to be featured on anyone’s song, they ask him of course. Then it comes down to availability and whether or not he is in a creative space, and he doesn’t charge!

Kevin Hart also asked Jay Z if he was officially retired. Jay said no, he tried that, and it didn’t work out well. He said when he did retire, he was tired. He needed some time off because he had put out an album every year for a few years straight, he also did features and was touring a lot, and he was burnt out.
