Ricky Martin denied sexual allegation claims about the relationship with his nephew on Friday, July 15th. Allegedly, Ricky was accused of domestic violence earlier this month, when Ricky was given a restraining order. Initially, no one was able to identify the alleged victim until the Latin news website, Marca, revealed that his 21-year-old nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, was the alleged victim.

Since then, Ricky Martin denied sexual allegation claims about the relationship with his nephew, and his lawyer, Marty Singer, told Deadline that the person who made the claim struggles with mental health challenges. Marty said, “the idea is not only untrue, it is disgusting. We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts.”

Marca also reported that Dennis was allegedly the one who ended their 7-month relationship. Ricky didn’t take it well so he continued to contact his nephew and showed up at his home. Although Ricky Martin denied sexual allegation claims about the relationship with his nephew, he has a court hearing that will be held in Puerto Rico on July 21st. Domestic abuse with a relative is a very serious felony in Puerto Rico. The authorities do not take crimes like that lightly. So if Ricky found guilty, he could be looking at a 50-year sentence.Ricky Martin’s domestic abuse with a relative case comes right after he was hit with a $3 million lawsuit from his former manager, Rebecca Drucker, over unpaid commissions. Drucker and her legal team also alleged that Ricky has a substance abuse problem and she saved him from a potentially career-ending allegation in September 2020. She filed her complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 29 but no one on Martin’s legal team has commented on the lawsuit yet. Guess he really has been “Livin’ la Vida Loca.”
