Controversial Brooklyn-based religious leader, Bishop Lamor Whitehead is making the news for the second time in two weeks. While the former was his $20 million lawsuit against two social media personalities that he claimed called him a scammer and drug-dealer, the flashy Bishop this time has reportedly been arrested for grabbing a woman by the neck during the service on Sunday.
Bishop Lamor Whitehead could be seen in his church’s Livestream giving his sermon when a woman in the congregation interrupted him. He, in a video posted on youtube asked the woman to instead, “come on up” the pulpit to do the preaching.
“You want to come preach? Come up on here, come on up here,” Whitehead repeatedly said.
The woman could later be seen walking past the pulpit when Whitehead grabbed her by the head, shoving her out of the pulpit. The Bishop resumed his sermon after like nothing had happened.

Later during the day, the religious leader released a video on his Facebook page to address the incident. He claimed in the video that the woman among others that showed up with her were “sent by two nobodies/bloggers” to disrupt his service in retaliation to lawsuits he filed against them earlier this month.
He claimed his action was in a bid to protect his wife and baby daughter who were being charged at at the time, by the woman. According to him, he “grabbed” and “escorted” the woman out.
