Simplest Casino Games To Master As A Beginner

Casino games for beginners

While the traditional gambling Meccas of Las Vegas and Macau have taken a major hit in the last two years, the gambling industry is still growing thanks to online betting. Most countries have also embraced the online gambling market, attracting millions of players worldwide. However, before you try your hand at online gambling for real money, remember to verify the online gambling platform is legal in your country or browse the GamblingSites.com site for trustworthy options.

While the convenience of the online gambling market has made it popular, choosing a casino game can be challenging for beginners considering the huge number of games available. Fortunately, there are several simple options worth trying, including:

Blackjack

Blackjack is arguably the most popular casino game in land-based and online casinos, claiming over 30% of the table game action. The game is favored by greenhorns and seasoned casino players, as the gameplay is really easy for beginners to understand and master. Additionally, seasoned blackjack players with a good understanding of its mechanics can incorporate various strategies, including card counting, to boost their winning chances.

The basic premise of blackjack is to have a hand that outranks the dealer without going beyond 21. You’ll need simple arithmetic to tally the total value of your cards, with numbers 2-`10 representing their face value while J, K and Q have a value of 10. However, the Ace has a value of 11 or 1, depending on the value that will be most useful to you.

Baccarat

Similar to blackjack, baccarat is another straightforward casino game that features the player going against the dealer. The player and the dealer each receive two cards, and whoever has the higher value between the two hands wins. However, the maximum scoreline in baccarat is nine.

In baccarat, numbers 2-9 represent their face value, while the cards 10, J, K and Q have a zero value. Ace is equal to one. However, the game rules allow players to remove the first number and look for the second one to avoid a burst. For instance, if you get five and seven (the sum of which is 12), you’ll subtract five from seven to get two.

Roulette

Roulette is arguably the most iconic online casino game you can play, often featured in many movies and TV shows. This table game comes in two main versions – American and European style, but they both feature a wheel and a rotating ball on the table.

The European style features 37 pockets in the roulette wheel, while the American version has 38 slots. However, the player’s main aim is to predict where the ball will land after spinning, and there are dozens of markets to bet on.

Slots

While the blaring dings and blinding lights of traditional slot machines may discourage players in traditional casinos, this luck-based game has gained traction in the online market. These simple casino games are a great start for casino beginners, as the gameplay is simple to understand and winning them purely depends on your luck. Additionally, online casinos feature lots of penny slots with progressive jackpot prizes.
