Twitter discusses Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black Ameria, the controversial film that has Kyrie Irving considering retirement.

It’s been a few weeks since NBA superstar point guard for the Brooklyn Nets Kyrie Irving posted a link to his Twitter account for a controversial film entitled, Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America available on Amazon. Since then, the basketball player has been suspended from play and demanded to complete a list of 6 steps by the NBA to return to the court.

The Athletic revealed the six steps:

  1. Issue an apology for posting a link to the movie on Oct. 27, condemn the harmful and false content and make clear that he does not have anti-Jewish beliefs.
  2. Complete the anti-hate causes that Irving, the Nets and the Anti-Defamation League agreed upon in their joint release on Nov. 2, including a $500,000 donation toward causes and organizations that work to eradicate hate and intolerance in communities.
  3. Complete sensitivity training created by the Nets.
  4. Complete antisemitic/anti-hate training designed by the Nets.
  5. Meet with representatives from the Anti-Defamation League and Jewish community leaders in Brooklyn.
  6. After completing 1 through 5, meet with owner Joe Tsai and lead franchise officials and demonstrate the lessons learned and that the gravity of the harm caused in the situation is understood and provide assurances that this type of behavior will not be repeated.

We have included the trailer for the film below:

The creator of the film Ronald Dalton Jr. issued a statement on November 06, 2022, defending Kyrie Irving and the film’s content.

Once the list of requirements was made public, Twitter users took to their accounts to express how they feel about the controversial film and the treatment of Kyrie Irving by the NBA. Check out some of their responses below:

If Hebrews to Negros has alleged lies about the holocaust then why is it still being sold on Amazon? No one has asked Jeff Bezos to take it down or asked him to apologize along with Kyrie?? This is very odd.

Hebrews to Negros: Wake Up Black America.. there is a reason Jeff hasn’t removed the documentary

That’s what Hebrews to Negros is about. Jews are imposters who stole the religious heritage of Black people and have engaged in a “cover-up” to prevent Black people from knowing their “true” identity….so who do you think needs to apologize? https://t.co/7TFbn14FOT

We are watching Hebrews To Negros on Amazon now and it’s worth the $11.99 rental. It’s dropping receipts with dna on everything. There is no hate speech or anything. It is a must view. pic.twitter.com/BoU7oJbUm6

ADL says “Hebrews To Negros film also amplifies longstanding antisemitic tropes about Jewish power, control and greed, including false claims that Jews control the media”
Why is someone called antisemitic & censored
when they draw attention to this fact? https://t.co/cnfyZdAeCP

I watched “Hebrews to negros”

…them white peoples are doing & saying whatever they want because they are lynching brother Kyrie for giving us the keys

— VACATION23 (@J23ballin) November 6, 2022

So I just saw the Jewish community saying, “We should come up with a documentary to counter this lie.” But you have the museum, countless history books. But you need another to prove Hebrews to Negros is a lie?….K🤔😏 #IStandWithKyrie
