Hip Hop star GloRilla is an interesting character. First, she says back in December 2022: ““OK, so y’all drink nut, right? This so corny to me, oh my god. It’s some weird sh*t. Say we just got done eating, right? Then we have sex right after [that]. And it’s some food, I’ma still eat it. So, if he finna nut, I’m like, ‘Nut on my food I’ma eat it.’ I’m like, ‘Put some on my fries real quick, I’ma eat it.’” If semen-infused food wasn’t enough, recently the “Tomorrow 2” rapper confessed that she spent some time in jail in the past. What for, though? Robbery? Attempted murder? Grand theft auto? Not even close.

Evidently, GloRilla said she went to jail for three years for stealing cereal out of K-mart. Yes, you read that right. GloRilla might be one of the biggest hip-hop artists (male or female) in the music industry today, however, on the road to manifesting her dreams she had to get over some sizable speed bumps. Last month, a comical clip of the “Blessed” spitter working at in a fast-food restaurant’s drive-thru reemerged online. Now, a throwback interview of the Memphis native rekindled online in which it was disclosed that she spent time in the big house as a result of thieving food.

In the video, Funny Marco spoke to GloRilla on his YouTube show. The “No More Love” musician discussed how she accrued immense success through the years then she later recollected an occurrence that took place years ago where she had to go to jail. Funny Marco dug in and asked the rap star about her outlaw past, to which GloRilla attested that she factually spent roughly three years behind bars. When the smoke cleared, GloRilla confessed stealing cereal out of Kmart is why she was sent to jail.

Funny Marco asked, “You did three years in jail?” to which GloRilla affirmed, “yes.” The host then stated, “that don’t sound right, you don’t go to jail for stealing cereal, right?” Regardless of paying her debt to society, GloRilla went on to take the rap game by storm as she was recently nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. In the past few months, she dropped a hit song featuring Cardi B, rocked the stage at the American Music Awards, and put out her debut album “Anyways Life’s Great….”
