Cardi B is from the Bronx and used to dance exotically for a living — meaning she’s a vet when it comes to the art of confrontation. Footage of the “Please Me” star screaming backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards during a physical altercation between Offset and Quavo has just went viral. On Monday (Feb. 6), numerous online outlets reported that the Migos members got into a fist fight backstage at the awards show, which took place on Sunday (Feb. 5) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
It was rumored that the hip hop group members scuffled backstage after Quavo told Offset he could not join him on stage during his performance of “Without You” (scheduled to take place during the “In Memorium” portion of the ceremony), according to TMZ. The sources conveyed that is wasn’t Offset who initiated the brawl—it was actually Quavo. The Recording Academy requested Offset share the stage with Quavo at the 2023 Grammys during the “Without You” performance, however, the “Lamb Talk” spitter shot the notion down and the pair figured a fist fight would settle the beef. It appears Cardi B simply got roped into the chaotic mix.

In the video, Cardi B is heard yelling backstage at the Grammys: “Both of y’all wrong! Both of y’all! This is not right!” She went on: “No btch, shut the fck up ’cause you shouldn’t have been talking.” After resurfacing from the affray and swaying by reporters, the “Be Careful” hit maker gathered herself and came off sheepish when queried about what took place backstage. A reporter asked her: “I heard you back there settling some stuff.” Without mentioning Offset or Quavo, Cardi said to the reporter: “The only thing I settled was my outfit, honey!”
Even though the video clearly displays some sort of altercation was taking place backstage at the Grammys, Offset has since denied engaging in a brawl with his cousin/group member. After the story circulated around the internet, Offset took to Twitter writing: “What tf look like fighting my brother, yal n*ggas is crazy.” As far as Quavo goes, he has yet to say anything publicly about the alleged incident. Additionally, Cardi B hasn’t spoken out yet in regards to the supposed fight.
