Keke Palmer welcomes baby boy! The actress and her longtime mate, Darius Jackson, announced the birth of their beautiful, new bundle of joy, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
Palmer posted to her Instagram account to notify the world of her son’s arrival on Monday February 27, 2023. The 29-year-old shared a few photos of baby Leo, along with video clips of her and Jackson prior to the special event. Additionally, Palmer explained to her followers what the first 48 hours as new parents were like.
She captioned the post: Hey Son!!!! 1. Only 48hrs of being parents! ?2. Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating, “Someone” by El Debarge was a favorite. We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God! ? 3. The baby love Rolling Ray, cause purrr. 4. “I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.” Hahaha 5. I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide. 6. And this slide ????❤️???? Born during Black History Month, with a name to match ?! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.

Palmer previously confirmed rumors of her pregnancy during her Saturday Night Live hosting debut this past December.
“There’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby,’ ‘Keke’s pregnant.’ And I want to set the record straight. I am,” she said in her opening monologue before revealing her baby bump.
Keke then appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and accidentally unveiled the sex of her baby by speaking on his possible astrological signs.
As Keke Palmer has told us many times before, she stays working, new mother or not! She was recently crowned ‘Best Supporting Actress’ by the New York Film Critics Circle for her role as Emerald in Jordan Peele’s Nope, and will soon star alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in the forthcoming film Super Toys.
The two will play “groovy ’70s toy sales reps on a life-and-death mission to save themselves, their marriage, and their live-wire 12-year-old daughter while on the road in Middle America,” according to a press release.
