Evelyn Lozada engaged to her Queens Court finalist LaVon Lewis?! Yes, congrats are in order!
The Basketball Wives alum recently revealed that she will be getting married to marketer LaVon Lewis, who was her runner-up in Peacock’s Queens Court dating series.
According to reports, Lewis proposed to Lozada this past December, on the 47-year-old’s birthday, surrounded by close friends and family.
Regarding the engagement, Lozada told PEOPLE, “I didn’t know that he was going to propose that day.”

Lewis tried to keep it a secret. He advised her to get ready because we were leaving. Until she reached the front door, she was wearing a blindfold. Inviting roughly 20 loved ones, he popped the big question to her in an intimate moment. It took place in a room decorated with large “marry me” messages, roses scattered across the floor, and other such things.
She further expressed, “I didn’t know what I was walking into. He was being very sneaky and, in all honesty, I was a little irritated because I’m such an alpha female and I’m kind of like, why do I have to pack? Why do I have to do this? It was really, really difficult for me to just let go and allow him to do his thing.”
The news of Lozada and Lewis’ engagement follows the recent premiere of Queens Court, which she stars in alongside singers Tamar Braxton and Nivea, as each of the ladies search for their Mr. Right.
Lewis also mentioned, “I didn’t think I would go into it and come out of it with a wife. But look at what happens when you open yourself up and challenge yourself and step up to the plate.”
While Lozada is basking in her soon-come wedding-day bliss, she and Lewis isn’t the only couple from Queens Court to step into a new chapter of their lives!
Additionally, Lozada’s co-star Tamar Braxton just got engaged to fellow contestant Jeremy Robinson. The songstress took to her social media to show off her manzzz!
