Is media personality Wendy Williams moving across country?

The radio/TV legend is reportedly getting prepared to move across the country and is already listing some of her properties for sale.

Williams’ New York City apartment was said to be the location where she was going to film her new podcast, but reports have it that she’s now seeking to sell off the furniture in the apartment.

The rumored cancellation of her podcast due to health concerns dashed the hopes of the former talk show host, who had been teasing a return to the big screen.

Allegedly, Williams has been looking for buyers to sell off her possessions as she prepares to move to Los Angeles, according to The Sun.

Is Wendy Williams Moving Across Country? Let’s Discuss…

The 58-year-old former Wendy Williams Show host plans to move sometime in the first week of April. It’s been reported that she’s trying to sell some of her most cherished possessions, including the recognizable purple chair she used on her infamous talk show.

According to the news outlet, a source said, “Wendy has been calling people, asking them to help sell all her stuff. She is asking for recommendations on places that can sell furniture for you.”

Fans got a sneak peek into the stunning decor of the $ 3 million New York City penthouse when she filmed several episodes of her time at home during COVID lockdown in 2020.

The reports of her planned relocation came after news broke that her much-anticipated return to the screen was derailed, as her podcast was allegedly canceled.

The Think Like A Man actress had been dropping hints about the podcast for some time and had already been spotted filming at the time before it was canceled, telling her friends, “there’s no podcast.”

“It’s strange, because she is saying there is no podcast, but is also telling people she’s going to return to TV. It’s hard to figure out what is based in reality,” an insider detailed.

The podcast first came to light in 2022 after Williams created an Instagram page for it and announced plans to film it at her New York City apartment, where she is currently clearing out her furniture and belongings.

Her manager, Will Selby, noted that the show wasn’t going to be a “traditional podcast,” as her day-to-day dealings would be documented on it, tagging it the “full Wendy Experience”.

“Wendy says podcast, but she doesn’t elaborate that it’s not going to be a traditional podcast; this is going to be a full podcast show,” Selby shared. “I feel like Wendy is a complete experience, that’s why the name of her show was ‘The Wendy Williams Experience.’”

Selby believed that the video component of the show was essential to its success because it would have given viewers a chance to get to know Williams personally.
