Highlights of Chaka Khan’s accomplishments isn’t the only thing that we will be sharing.  Chaka Khan is finally being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!

Chaka Khan has been nominated seven times, but it wasn’t until now where her work has finally spoke for itself.

She was first nominated in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three times as a solo artist and then four times as a member of Rufus.

This 10-time Grammy award winning superstar has taken pop, jazz, soul and funk and created music that will get anyone off their feet.

For decades, Chaka Khan has impacted millions of people around the world with her music and voice.

She has inspired other musicians such as Erykah Badu, Lizzo, Prince and many others.

She has released 21 albums, where 10 of them were certified gold and platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Her song, “I’m Every Woman” has been an anthem for many generations and still remains as such today.

So much so that “I’m Every Woman” will become a musical where it will premiere in London in Autumn of 2024.

Many have given her the name “Queen of Funk”, as we highlight Chaka Khan’s accomplishments we can’t forget the moment when she decided to become a member of the band Rufus.

From there she caught the attention of Stevie Wonder with her hit single “Tell Me Something Good”.

The song gave Chaka Khan her first Grammy and became Top 5 hit on Billboards Hot 100 Chart.

She became a legend from then on and continued to rank the charts even with her rendition of Prince’s song “I Feel For You” which made history in being the first R&B song to feature rap.

Chaka Khan has been working for over 25 years in the industry and has finally been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

But her achievements just don’t stop at music.

She has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been inducted into the Hollywood’s Bowl Hall of Fame, BET’s Lifetime Achievement Award and Triumph Award, the World Music Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award, The United Negro College Fund’s An Evening of Stars Tribute and a Grammy Honors Award from the NARAS Chicago Chapter.

She has even opened a foundation called the Chaka Khan Foundation, where it has brought awareness to women and children who are at risk, but especially to children with autism.

Like many artists, she’s had ups and downs but with her music she was able to get through it all.

We are extremely happy and applaud this legend for the music and the love that she continues to show the world.

Ms. Chaka Khan deserves it all.
