The TLC Forever documentary is on its way to our TV screens.

Supergroup TLC’s rags-to-riches tale will be told by group members Chilli and T-Boz in Lifetime’s new special on the music icons.

Accordant to a press statement from the basic cable channel, “Lifetime and A&E will simulcast the new two-hour documentary TLC Forever, chronicling the journey of the top-selling American female band of all time who led the way with their music, message, and their style.”

In 1990, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, and the now-late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes founded TLC in Atlanta. Reportedly, the groundbreaking trio garnered over 35 prestigious awards, notched nine top-ten hits, and sold over 85 million records globally.

The release extended, “When Left Eye died tragically in 2002, the group faced not only immense pain and an uncertain future but also felt abandoned by the entertainment industry despite iconic achievements. Against all odds and through all the struggles, the group persevered with courage, love, and unity, forging a new path to success, including launching a new tour slated for summer 2023.”

In the new trailer, Chilli expressed, “No matter what we went through, we never questioned the love.”

Chilli then addressed TLC’s breakup, “I just never had that feeling that it was over.” T-Boz followed up by remarking, “How are we supposed to fight against the world if we’re fighting internally?”

TLC Forever, which is created by One Story Up and Lauren Fulton for Lifetime and the A&E Network, is directed by Matthew Kay. Geoff Martz and Roger Ross Williams served as the film’s executive directors. Rozonda Thomas, Rick Krim,  Bill Diggins (Diggit Entertainment Group), and Tionne Watkins serve as executive producers for TLC. Elaine Frontin Bryant and Brad Abramson are listed in the press statement as executive producers for A+E Networks.

On June 3rd at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Lifetime and A&E will premiere TLC Forever — so mark your calendars!
