The 29-year-old was pulled over by police after running a red light and after a preliminary investigation, was cuffed on suspicion of driving under the influence. While further details remain scarce, the former college football star-turned-actor and producer was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge and had his bond set at $5,000. After news of his arrest hit the headlines, Justin Combs’ mother, Misa Hylton, took to her Instagram Stories to fire off a series of angry, thinly veiled messages aimed at Diddy. “I’m not protecting no one anymore. Just my son,” she began. “The statement ‘a fish rots from the head down’ means that, in addition, to being a major contributing factor in a family or organization’s success, leadership is also the root cause of its failure and demise. The truth shall set you free.” “Act Bad???” she added, referencing Puff’s latest single with City Girls and Fabolous. “Act BAD BAD boy. I used to want to be a BAD Girl I chose to be a QUEEN Tried and true. I’m not perfect but I am INTENTIONAL.” Hylton continued her tirade by calling out UCLA — Justin’s former school — and referencing her ex-partner’s recent lawsuit against spirits company Diageo, who he accused of racial discrimination and neglecting his DeLeón tequila brand. “I should have kept my child with me. Fuck UCLA too,” she added. “Everybody can get it. How you go from one of the greatest to ever do it to making all your money off alcohol and suing the damn alcohol company. Sell something healthy that builds people up. I’m sick of it!!!!! NOT MINES.” Misa Hylton also issued a stern warning to Diddy’s chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, who she claims tried to “handle” her. “And Kristina if you ever try to handle me again I will go straight across your head!!!!!” she said. “Stay out the way[.] You are a nice person[.] Everyone is tough until it’s time to be tough.” “Everyone has to sit around for years and act like there isn’t anything wrong with you,” Hylton concluded her rant. “This where the buck stops for me. If anything ever happened to my son GOD FORBID. What is anyone going to say to me?? When we all know who’s fault it would be.”View this post on Instagram
While Diddy has yet to address his son’s arrest or Misa Hylton’s critical posts (which have since been deleted), this isn’t the first bit of legal drama to befall his family of late. Last September, the Harlem rap mogul was sued by a former nanny who claims he fired her after she informed him she was pregnant. Raven Wales-Walden says she became a full-time nanny to Diddy’s twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie James, after their mother, Kim Porter, died from pneumonia in November 2018. When she fell pregnant in August 2020 and requested maternity leave, though, Puff allegedly grew “infuriated” and fired her around the time her maternity leave was due to begin. Last month, Diddy asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to dismiss the wrongful termination lawsuit, arguing Raven failed to “satisfactorily perform her job responsibilities” and even “received compensation for work that was not performed.”Misa Hylton has words for #diddy about son Justin Combs pic.twitter.com/gKDa4am7Xl
