Wait, rumor has it that Drake and Nicki Minaj have collabed on a new song and it’s coming out soon. But, is it any truth to that or is it fiction?
According to Drizzy, he and the “Super Bass” hitmaker worked together on a song for his upcoming album, “For All The Dogs.”
The “God’s Plan” rapper is presently touring across North America with 21 Savage as part of their “It’s All A Blur” project. It began in Chicago this month and will end in Columbus, Ohio, in October.
Drake announced to the fans during his July 8 performance in Detroit that he and his close friend Nicki Minaj would soon be releasing a song on his eighth studio album.
“I’m gonna give away one thing for you tonight because I got a lot of love for Detroit,” the Toronto native expressed. “So I’m gonna have to tell you that me and Nicki Minaj did our first song together in, like, a really long time. I got a lot of love for her.”

Drake & Nicki Minaj New Song Dropping Soon
Only three tracks were recorded together by the former Young Money artists.
In 2010, Drake contributed to Minaj’s iconic debut album “Pink Friday” track “Moment 4 Life,” and she thanked him by contributing a verse to the smash hit “Up All Night” from “Thank Me Later.”
The Queens hip hop sensation also rocked with Drizzy on “Make Me Proud” in 2011.

Since then, Drake and Minaj have collaborated with their O.G. Lil Wayne on songs as well. Most recently, they revitalized their bars on “Seeing Green” for the 2021 re-release of Minaj’s third studio mixtape, “Beam Me Up Scotty.”
In June, “For All The Dogs” and “Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness” (Drake’s debut poetry paperback with Kenza Samir) were both announced.
“I made an album to go with the book, said the “Find Your Love” singer via social media. “They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.”
