G Herbo pled guilty on Wednesday (July 19), according to the Chicago Tribune, to lying to agents and using stolen identities to pay for designer puppies, a Jamaican home, and private jets.

In connection with a second firearm case in Chicago, where prosecutors also filed a plea agreement outlining the specifics of the wire fraud arrangement, G Herbo (better known as Herbert Wright III) was required to appear in court in Massachusetts on Wednesday.

The Chicago native would probably serve two to three years in the big house based on federal sentencing guidelines, even though the wire fraud offense carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

Before U.S. District Judge Mark G. Mastroianni, a plea hearing has been tentatively scheduled on July 27.

The charge of lying to agents was added in a second indictment in 2021, more than two years after the “Ridin Wit It” hitmaker was charged with conspiring to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Herbo and five other people were charged with making up to $1.5 million in fictitious purchases of goods and services, including private jet travel, a personal chef, a holiday at a Jamaican estate, and pups from a Michigan company, using stolen identities.

G Herbo denied wrongdoing when he was accused, and in a song titled “Statement” that was published in December 2020, he made reference to the accusations.

The hip hop star spat on the song, “Let’s talk about them jets, yeah, let’s talk about Jamaica/ Ask about me, I ain’t never been a fraud/ I went hard from the start/ In my city I’m a God, muthaf*cka/ If you know, you know.”
