That’s why this particular story of a Caribbean mother and daughter who will be the first duo and Caribbean’s to fly into space is history made.
Keisha Schahaff and Anastasia Mayers, this mother and daughter duet have been working towards making their dreams and history come to life. Hailing from the Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda, they won the lottery for this phenomenal experience.
Keisha, 44, who is also a wellness coach, shares that she has always dreamt of traveling through space and now that she has the opportunity to do so she shares that anyone is able to look at the stars as well.
Anastasia Mayers, who is a sophomore in college will be the second youngest to travel to space.
The two will be traveling in the Virgin Galactic 02 which will take them into space on this 90 minute flight.
