After much anticipation, Nicki Minaj finally announced her latest single, “Last Time I Saw You.” The announcement was accompanied with a beautiful image posted to her Instagram account, a pre-save link to the song, and a sneak peak of its lyrics.

The news of the Queens rapper’s new track arrived over a week after dropping a behind-the-scenes look of her latest photoshoot with it playing in the background. Following the BTS footage that was uploaded to her social media accounts, she shared a clip of herself listening to the song via TikTok.
“Last Time that I saw you #PinkFriday2 #nickiminajsnippet,” she wrote in the post’s caption.

As seen in Nicki Minaj’s TikTok caption, “Last Time That I Saw You” is set to appear on her Pink Friday 2 album which the musician revealed will be released on November 17, 2023. It will reportedly be her fifth studio album.
She made the announcement back in June much to fans excitement.
“Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit. Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT…but since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I’d like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don’t have to get cussed out so…here it goes: MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23- and she shall be called: #PinkFriday2,” Nicki tweeted that month.
In other exciting Nicki Minaj news, she also makes history as the first female celebrity to be made into a character on the iconic Call Of Duty video game.
“Dear Barbz, Today we make history. History books will say that the HARAJUKU #BARBIE was the first female celebrity made into a character on @CallofDuty. I am so honored. So HAPPY. It was such a pleasure working with the #COD team. Let’s show TF OUT!!! Love, HB,” she tweeted on Aug. 24.
