Taye Diggs and his real life girlfriend Apryl Jones are set to star in a new Peacock original film. In the new Taye Diggs and Apryl Jones movie, the pair play a married couple moving back to Atlanta when she is offered a new job. The Comeback movie is set to premiere on the network on August 25th via Maverick Entertainment.
Taye Diggs and Apryl Jones have been dating since at least December 2021. The couple have made several social media videos together showcasing their chemistry so co-starring in this movie seems like the perfect opportunity for them to continue to showcase how cute they are together.
Taye Diggs returns to Peacock, months after the premiere of the limited series, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which was a hugely successful “end” to The Best Man series.

The Comeback movie synopsis
Jeff and Tisa Murray have decided to move their family back to their hometown of Atlanta when Tisa is offered her dream job. The dream becomes a hilarious reality when family issues, Mom’s new boyfriend, and ex-lovers are waiting on them upon their return.
The movie is written by J. Carter and directed by Ariel Hairston.
