Will.I.AM expresses his femininity and how comfortable he is in it, in a recent podcast interview.Â
Many people know Will.I.AM from the iconic group Black Eyed Peas who was apart of making hit songs and giving the world a different sound.Â
But in a recent interview, Will.I.AM expressed the constant push back of being what he calls “ultra feminine”. He describes not having a father in his when he was coming of age which resulted in him learning from his mother. While most of his mannerisms are his mother’s he shares that he has no problem with.Â
He continues to bring up the hardship in his life when he was 18 explaining that he felt distorted and it was the hardest path in his life.Â
Although many people in the 90s weren’t too fond of the LGBT+ community back then it did leave people wondering if Will.I.AM considered himself gay, which he corrects immediately.
“I like girls. I was never attracted to men, I am attracted to females but I’m feminine.”
He explains that being emotional especially when you’re a creator isn’t something that should be looking down upon. It’s all apart of being a creator, when you’re sensitive, you’re hypersensitive but its all apart of the process.Â
