DJ Envy is defending 50 Cent amidst his battery assault charges. You may remember the mic-throwing incident from a few days back at the Crypto.com Arena, in Los Angeles. Yes, the one that left Power 106 Radio Host, Bryhana Monegain with a bloodied head.

The York City’s premier mixtape producer stated his stand on the issue by saying “…But, yeah, it’s a terrible situation. There’s no way in hell. I mean, 50. You know, everybody sees Fif as this big bully online, but he’s like, the nicest and most caring person. I know it was probably an accident. I know it was an accident. So, I mean, things happen. 50 wasn’t aiming for her. And, we’ve seen 50 throw that first pitch at that Major League Baseball game. And we know how cr*zy he throws. So I know 50 is very remorseful.”

According to videos circulating and people in the crowd, 50 had just been worked up because all the mics handed to him were malfunctioning and he had launched two different mics in the air. One of which landed Monegain on the head.

Monegain on the other hand purportedly said that 50 Cent looked directly at her before launching the mic into the air. So, she assumes that he knew she was there and intentionally clocked her in the head. Hence, the battery assault charges she pressed against him.

Here is what people are saying on X:

DJ Envy happens to be one of the few people on 50 Cent’s side. He even joked about 50’s horrible first pitch at a Mets game, further validating the fact that 50 really can’t throw for a cent. He thinks 50 would eventually come to a compromise with Monegain, financially or otherwise.
