[LISTEN] Kirk Franklin Unveils New Single, “Needs” Ahead of Forthcoming ‘Father’s Day’ Album
Father’s Day usually comes in June, but this year, it comes twice. On October 6th, Kirk Franklin, the 19 time Grammy Award winner will release his brand new album, Father’s Day. Two singles had already been released from the Kirk Franklin Father’s Day album. Now we have the third single, “Needs.”
The album’s lead single “All Things” recently hit #1 on the latest Gospel radio charts. Topping the latest charts at #1 on both Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart and the Mediabase Gospel chart, “All Things” is his 10th #1 single on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart.
The follow-up single, “Try Love” was released more recently with an inspiring visual.
The Father’s Day album features Le’Andria Johnson, Chandler Moore, Tori Kelly, Jonathan McReynolds, Jekalyn Carr, Kelontae Gavin, and Maranda Curtis. The album includes 10 tracks.
The most recent single is “Needs.” No official music video has been released yet, but we expect another amazing visual to be released soon.
