Serena & Venus Williams have been the talk of the town since they both started their careers on the tennis court. With the passion and achievments that they have both reached, it is no surprise to us when they became the first black women to own an NFL team. Serena & Venus Williams own NFL team is a story that needs to be discussed!

Did you know that the two partially owned the Miami Dolphins NFL team? In 2009, Serena & Venus Williams stepped into the limelight of the Miami Dolphins and placed themselves as the new owners of the Miami Dolphins alongside Stephen Ross. Back then, the team was worth roughly 1 Billion dollars when Serena & Venus accepted partial ownership to the NFL team. As of 2023, the team is said to be worth 4.6 billion dollars! Serena & Venus have created an history not only in the NFL world but in our community by being the first black women to have ownership with a 4.6 billion dollar NFL team.

They created history in the NFL world when they both decided to take a place in the seat. Serena, who is now a mother to two wonderful children & Venus who continues to bring us encouraging words and dabbling into the need of speaking up when it comes to our mental health. The two continue to sore through making history.

The two are an incredible duo who’s work continues in the many business and ventures that they have amongst themselves and together. We are excited to constantly see the two strive to create change, while also stamping their name in this world.
