The latest update on Flo Rida’s son’s window-falling incident: his mother is demanding $40 million in compensation.
The mother of Flo Rida’s son, Alexis Adams, is not backing down without holding the people responsible for the window fall incident. Alexis Adams submitted the lawsuit, which is eight pages long, to the Hudson County Superior Court on Monday.
Earlier this year, their son, Zohar was injured when he fell from the flat they were living in at 74 Pollock Avenue, a building that had just opened in December on the West Side of the city. Zohar was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and admitted to the intensive care unit.
Reports indicate that she has taken legal action against a number of parties whom she holds accountable for her son’s death after he fell from a building in Jersey City. In the case, Pitch Perfect 74 LLC, Goldberg Management, and Carlos Machado are named as defendants. Alexis Adams estimates that the amount of money necessary to resolve the lawsuit will be $40 million.
According to the document, the building in question had “windows that posed a hazardous condition and/or by installing incorrectly sized guards,” all of which contributed to the child’s ability to fall through the floor and land on the concrete pavement below.
