Peace and Farewell to Adidas x IVY PARK

  • October 13, 2023

Today marks the final delivery of adidas x IVY Park, as it appears international superstar, Beyonce will no longer be collaborating with the activewear giant to continue another season. Farewell!

In April 2019, the then 38 year old recording artist made the decision to relaunch her label, IVY Park underneath the Adidas umbrella while still retainning sole ownership.

The first collection, a gender neutral assembly of electic training apparel in a bold, retro color palette – featured a wide variety of items that include sports bra, gymbags, harnesses and lanyards.

According to Adidas the line celebrated power, freedom and individuality for anyone who has the confidence to take chances and live unapologetically.

After four years of reworking and remixing styles for the highly committed Beyhive – the last collection embodies the closing of a chapter.

The fourth collection produced in a single death-like note of black, demonstrates a seemingly militant but urban theme at center of the finale with the production of modern looking berets in leather – similar to those worn by members of the Black Panther political party (1966 – 1982) in wool, in unison with loose fitting cargo jackets and pants.

Though stylistically unparalled in it’s avant-garde approach to sports and perfomance, reasons for the discontinued partnership between the brands have yet to be disclosed to the public.

Right now, the line still remains gender fluid, with collectibles ranging from sizes XXS all the way to 3XL in addition to being retailed at an economic price point of $35 to $350 USD.

For those love Beyonce and would like to double up timely work in addition to the current offerings also available through the ongoing Rennaisance tour – Adidas x IVY PARK NOIR collection is currently available for die hard fans via adidas’ online store and select stores.
