Keke Palmer’s ex Darius Jackson is striking back with a physical abuse claim of his own against the singer-actress.
The estranged husband filed a new lawsuit against Palmer yesterday, Friday, the 15th of December claiming that he was in fact the one who was physically abused in their relationship.

He cited different scenarios of abuse which include Palmer “violently” grabbing his arm, punching him in the face at a birthday party, and more.
In addition to this, the former college football star stated that he was not only physically abused but also verbally and emotionally abused. Darius stated that he was often called demeaning names like punk, bitch, loser etc.
Mind you, these new claims are arising after Palmer had been granted temporary custody of the son (Leodis Andrellton Jackson) which the once-upon-a-time couple share.
Alleged Erratic Texts from Palmer to Darius
He also submitted alleged text messages from Palmer to solidify his claim and requested that the judge retract the restraining order he put at 100 yards from his ex-wife and son.
In the alleged texts from the Nope artist, you could observe erratic behavior:
“I’m sorry for hitting you,” Palmer allegedly wrote. “I’m sorry for being afraid to lose you and that turning into me acting out of fear and desperation. That was not the best me that you received and I’m sorry for that.”
“I am mad at the situation, I’m mad at myself … I’m deeply affected and afraid because it’s such a deep heaviness that I don’t want to feel anymore. It’s not your fault nor your job to alleviate it from me,”
“I honestly need you to pray on it.” the actress wrote.

Palmer had initially filed a domestic abuse lawsuit against Darius with evidences which were supposedly caught on security cameras.
In the lawsuit, Palmer cited an incident of abuse from 2022. She wrote,
“In the bedroom, he slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side. The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs. When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs.”
