Floyd Mayweather’s comments on Diddy’s lawsuit
The latest twist in this unfolding narrative came during the most recent episode of The Pivot Podcast, where boxing legend Floyd Mayweather made unexpected comments regarding the situation. During a discussion, the conversation took an unexpected turn as Mayweather addressed the recent allegations against Diddy.
Mayweather, known for his candid and often controversial remarks, took a nuanced approach to the topic.
“I’m not going to speak bad about P. Diddy ’cause he’s still a Black man,” Mayweather asserted. “Mistakes happen. I can’t say if it is or it’s not a mistake. Things happen in life, and P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business.”
He went on to express his belief that it’s not his place, nor anyone else’s, to publicly denigrate someone during their moments of adversity.
“It’s not my job or anyone else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down,” Mayweather remarked. “My take on it is it’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it.”
The retired boxer continued by offering a personal perspective, imagining how he would react if a similar situation happened to his own daughter.
“Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt, but that’s a choice that my daughter made,” Mayweather reflected.
