Well, things just got even more bizarre in the YSL RICO trial. In the middle of the YSL RICO trial, a defense attorney gets arrested right there in the courtroom. And get this, it’s on gang-related charges.
Nicole Fegan, a legal representative involved in the Young Slime Life RICO gang trial in Fulton County, has found herself entangled in legal proceedings of her own.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has disclosed to Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne that Fegan is facing charges related to gang activity.
After being apprehended in Gwinnett County, Nicole Fegan, the defense attorney involved in the YSL Rico case, is slated for transfer to the Fulton County Jail to await further legal proceedings.
This development is particularly noteworthy given Fegan’s role as the attorney for Tenquarius Mender, a defendant whose case was previously separated from the main RICO trial in early 2023. As Fegan navigates her own legal challenges, the implications for Mender’s defense strategy and the broader RICO trial remain uncertain.
Arrested YSL Rico case attorney released
Renee Rockwell, a colleague of Fegan’s in the legal field, has staunchly defended Fegan’s innocence in light of the charges leveled against her. Rockwell asserts that Fegan is not guilty of the allegations brought against her.
Additionally, it has been disclosed that Fegan has opted to post a $40,000 bond, signaling her commitment to contesting the charges. As a result, Fegan was released from custody at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, marking a significant development in the ongoing legal saga surrounding the YSL Rico case.
