Since her official introduction to showbiz in 1989, through the short-lived ABC series Living Dolls, Berry has made quite a name for herself. The ex-beauty pageant model took the industry by storm during the 90s, solidifying her position as one of Hollywood’s hottest starlets in the game.

By 1991, she was grabbed by Spike Lee for his highly-acclaimed film, Jungle Fever, and the Kevin Hooks-directed comedy Strictly Business. However, her breakout role came when she portrayed main character ‘Angela’ in the Eddie Murphy-led classic Boomerang.

When the 2000s rolled around, an Emmy-winning Berry had become an established actress with many more credits to show for it–Catwoman being her most controversial.
