Relationship Goals is a romantic drama about love, work, and personal growth. The movie follows Leah Caldwell, a TV producer who is focused on building her career and reaching the top of the morning show world. She believes she has moved on from her past and is fully locked in on success.

Things change when her ex-boyfriend comes back into her life, not as a partner, but as her biggest rival at work. As they compete for the same opportunity, old feelings return, and hard choices must be made. The film is set in a busy TV workplace and focuses on love, mistakes, and whether people can really change.

Linda Mendoza, credited for works like Grown-ish, Harlem, and Sesame Street, mixes emotional moments with light humor to tell a relationship story that feels honest and familiar. The Relationship Goals cast have started giving teasers and promotions for the new film ahead of its premiere date, which is set to air on Prime Video on February 4, 2026. It is based off the NY Times bestseller, “Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and S*x” written by author and pastor Mike Todd.
