Business owner and vocalist, Rihanna is the first female artist to have 10 songs reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.  Given that Rihanna had not yet released any new songs, this announcement came as a surprise to everyone, even the singer. Fans were able to get Rihanna to commit to releasing an album after much prodding. Nonetheless, it appears we will still have to wait as she is extremely active in both her professional and personal life. Her status as the youngest female self-made billionaire was also acknowledged by Forbes.

 

Travis Scott – Spotify record for most monthly listeners for a rapper and most streamed album in 2023

Travis Scott recently joined the list for becoming the Spotify record for most monthly listeners for a rapper. This record was previously held by Drake. Following the release of his long overdue album, ‘Utopia’ the rapper made headlines for breaking another record on Spotify for the most streamed album 2023 in 24 hours for a rapper. Utopia is a 19-track project and the rapper’s fourth album. On Spotify, the rap musician is currently the sixth most streamed artist of all time.

 

Jungkook – Spotify’s most streamed song in 24 hours (2023)

BTS’s youngest member, Junkook has definitely exceeded expectations with his solo debut, “Seven”. “Seven,” a 2023 love song on which Junkook features Latto quickly grew on Spotify to become the most streamed song in 24 hours. Forbes reports that Junkook is now the biggest debut act on Spotify as well as the biggest solo K-pop act with such a record.

 

Nicki Minaj – most monthly listeners for a female rapper on Spotify

Yep! Queen Sleeze is the record holder for the most monthly listeners for a female rapper on Spotify. Nicki Minaj is also the only and first female rapper to achieve this record. The rap star garnered a total of 64.1 million monthly listeners, just 10 million behind Travis Scott.

 

Conclusion

Other artists like Shakira, who holds the Spotify record for the most streamed song in 24 hours by a Latin song. The song broke the internet and went viral following her boyfriend, Gerard Piqué cheating scandal. As well as Lil Nas X became the first artist to have two songs with over 2 billion streams on Spotify.
