It is not out of the ordinary to see rappers giving their opinions every once in a while, and Polo G is not an exception to this rule. The rapper Polo G turned to Twitter to give his thoughts on the music business, suggesting that he is seeking some healthy competition just ahead of his new album release, ‘HOOD POET.’
On August 18, Polo G announced on Twitter that he is contemplating leaving the music industry after having had a successful music career. Until now, Polo G was the only rapper whose whole discography was platinum-certified according to reports. He tweeted, “Honestly after my hood poet album I’m considering retiring from music”

The rapper followed with another Tweet where he elaborated on his distaste for the diluted state of rap music. It seems as though the rapper might be longing for the good old days.
