Cardi B and Akbar V from Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta trade insults on Twitter

The exchange between the female rappers on Twitter began later Sunday evening, September 25, 2022, when they two decided to take what seemed to be a private conversation through text messages to the internet. Apparently, Akbar V’s phone number was provided to Cardi B without her knowledge!

It is not completely clear as to why the 2 female emcees decided to take the “beef” to Twitter, but they did! Once on the internet, the two traded these tweeted insults to each other. One tweet in which Cardi B reposts a video of Akbar in a losing fight. Warning, some of the verbiage is extremely graphic.

A little bit of a background on Akbar V. Akbar V is a rapper who became a rising star in the southern rap scene with tracks like “3 $ No. Tax,” “RIP Mama” and “Rehab.” She was previously a member of the YSL label founded by Young Thug and was known to fans as “YSL First Lady.”

Akbar V was a supporting cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta since season eight, which chronicles her character’s struggles to escape the hood and kickstart her career. Additionally, during the season, she seen feuding with Tokyo Vanity, Spice, Sierra and Shekinah.

According to her fan page on Love & Hip Hop Wiki, Akbar has had a rough childhood growing up in Cleveland Ave, with experiences including drug addiction, sexual abuse, the death of her mother and having survived a gunshot wound to the head. She has five children from previous relationships, including Dorribion who appears in the series.
