After a steamy, hot, and addicting season 1, season 2 of Harlem is here with refreshing plot twists and new exciting romance.

Amazon announced on February 2022, that the series has been renewed for a second season. Written by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip), the Amazon Prime video series is a continuation and will take us through the lives of four ladies.

The story follows the lives of these ladies as they try to figure out their careers, and love while finding happiness and fulfillment. Additionally, Paper Kite’s Amy Poehler (Russian Doll) and Kim Lessing (Moxie) serve as executive producers.

While Paper Kite Productions in collaboration with Amazon Studios and Universal Television, a branch of the Universal Studio Group, are working together to produce the new series. It is set to air on Feb 3, 2023.

Meet The Cast of Harlem Season 2

The cast of Harlem Season 2 includes Meagan Good as Camille, Grace Byers as Quinn, Shoniqua Shandai as Angie, Jerrie Johnson as Tye, Tyler Lepley as Ian, Juani Feliz as Isabela, Jonathan Burke as Eric, Kadeem Ali Harris as Brandon, and Whoopi Goldberg as Dr. Elise.

More importantly, 7 other cast members have been added to the new Harlem season. Rachel True{Aimee}, Courtnee Carter, and Luke Forbes are set to return.

Meanwhile, Rick Fox (Dope), Sherri Shepherd (Sherri), Countess Vaughn (The Parkers), and Lil Rel Howery (Bird Box) will make cameo appearances.

What to expect from the cast of Harlem Season 2

The first season ended with us craving more. In Harlem season 2, we will be seeing Camille trying to find out how to put the pieces back together following the mess that occurred in her romantic life and work.

Angie’s (Shoniqua Shandai) career is expected to take a hopeful turn as things start looking good for her. Another main character, Tye (Jerrie Johnson) explores her future while trying to enjoy romance.

Zoe is played by Carter who is a self-assured Cassanova infamous for his player lifestyle. True will play Aimee, the owner of a plant store in Harlem.

As the story develops, she develops an odd connection with Tye. Shepherd portrays Sonya, the vivacious, adoring mother of Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), as well as Angie’s strongest supporter and cheerleader. Angie’s stepbrother, Freddie is played by Howery.

The character Michael is a well-to-do realtor known as one of New York’s best real estate salespeople. Not only is he boxed up financially, but he is also physically attractive.

While Quinn (Grace Byers) embarks on a voyage of self-discovery, her mum, Quinn’s mother Patricia (Jasmine Guy) tries to naively match her up with Michael.

Finally, Fox portrays Quinn’s adoring father, Phil. a wealthy father who enjoys having his daughter play golf with him on his birthday.
