It’s clear our fans are ready to devour more of this explosive series, and we look forward to having Michael join our incredible cast.”

Season three of “Power Book II: Ghost” airs on March 17, while season four is presently in production in New York. Michael Ealy will star in the series as Detective Don Carter, an NYPD cop on his way to becoming Police Commissioner until a gang of drug dealers kill his wife. Taking the murder to heart, Carter promises to clean up the streets and begins leading an NYPD drug task force. 50 Cent has yet to comment about season 4 being greenlit, however, he sure spoke up when season 3 was renewed in December 2022.

Season 3 on the way, BOOM, GLG, GreenLightGang,” 50 Cent posted via Instagram following “Power Book II: Ghost” season 3 renewal. Jeffrey Hirsch, CEO of Starz, said also: “The continued success and cultural resonance of the Power universe is unprecedented, and fans are clearly still hungry for more ‘Power Book II: Ghost.’ We’re excited for the third season of the star-studded series to get into production early next year just ahead of the debut ‘Power Book IV: Force,’ the fourth installment in the rapidly expanding franchise.”

Power Book II: Ghost” is a spinoff of “Power,” the original drama series starring Omari Hardwick as James “Ghost St. Patrick. The other two spinoff’s of “Power” are “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” (which depicts 50 Cent‘s character Kanan as a child) and “Power Book IV: Force” (which shows how Ghost’s best friend and business partner, Tommy Egan, takes over the drug trade in a new city). With Michael Ealy‘s decorative acting resume (“Never Die Alone“, “Takers“, etc.), he’s sure to add intensive energy and immense value to Starz’s popular crime show.
