Kendrick Lamar Releases New Single, “The Heart Part IV”, Announces April 7th Album Release
Kendrick Lamar knows how to make an announcement. After launching an instagram and posting a picture of the word IV, Kendrick Lamar had EVERYONE speculating the meaning and significance all day. Many figured it meant his fourth album and some thought it would be revealed at midnight, but it wasn’t until the day was almost over that we got the answer of exactly what it all meant, in the form of his new single, “The Heart Part IV.”
Already listeners are speculating that Kendrick is sending shots at Drake. The timing is already interesting, waiting just days after Drake released his More Life playlist to unveil his own single and album plans. THen there are also these lines, which sounds like he’s taking real shots at an industry foe. Who better than Drake???:
