It’s possible to purchase the BMW that Tupac Shakur was riding in when he was gunned down — however, the price tag is for big ballers only.

On September 7, 1996, the “Dear Mama” rapper was shot and killed while riding in a car after leaving a boxing bout at the MGM Grand hotel-casino in Las Vegas.

Suge Knight, a co-founder of Death Row Records, was operating the leased car when the victim was killed.

The 1996 BMW is now available for sale at Celebrity Cars in Las Vegas for $1.75 million.

Ryan Hamilton, the general manager of Celebrity Cars, claims that the car has been repaired and sold to the public several times since the shooting, perhaps without the new owners being aware of its past.

That was the case up until nearly four years ago, when a collector discovered a concealed compartment on the side of the BMW door and recognized it was the car Tupac Shakur was in. According to Hamilton, the box was probably used to keep a gun.

Last Monday, Las Vegas police executed a search warrant at a residence in the neighborhood resided by Duane Davis, Orlando Anderson’s uncle, who is suspected of killing the hip hop legend.

The firearm cartridges that were confiscated from the house, according to the police, will be put through testing.

At the Sotheby’s hip-hop auction this year, a gold ring worn by Tupac was purchased by rapper Drake for roughly $1 million

In other news, Tupac’s crown ring (seen above) has been identified as Drake‘s new possession. On Thursday, Drake paid more than $1 million for the ring at auction.

A little more than a week before he was shot and killed in Las Vegas at the age of 25, Shakur made his final public appearance at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards while sporting the unique, self-made ring on his left ring finger.

By sharing a picture of the ring on his Instagram account, Drake revealed that he was the ring’s unknown buyer. The “God’s Plan” hitmaker now owns the crown ring, according to a news release from Sotheby’s, the auction house that handled the sale of the item of jewelry.
