This past weekend was all about the 10th Anniversary BET Awards with Warner Bros. And of course with a great show comes even better parties. Parlé gave me the chance to attend this year’s pre-BET celebration thrown by Warner Brothers and Ciroc. The black carpet was filled with hot stars that have grazed the pages of Parlé Magazine as well as up & comers that may luckily have the chance one day.
The gorgeously talented LisaRaye strutted across the black carpet looking ready for summer while donning all white. I was able to get the scoop on the status of her reality show, “Yes, I have a second season coming up.”
One of my favorite interviewers ever, Kandi Burruss, stopped to chat with me about the next season of reality hit Housewives of Atlanta and her long awaited album B.L.O.G saying, “The new season comes out in October. We’ve added a couple new cast members.” When I asked if fans would see more beef between her and NeNe Leakes she answered coyly, “not from me.” Is anyone else curious as to who she’s talking about? Guess we’ll have to wait for the season. Have you been counting down the days until you can finally listen to her album B.L.O.G? Well you can finally relax because you only have a few more months to wait, “My manager decided that the album will come out on November 23rd,” Kandi promises.
With a new season of reality television and a brand new album coming out, Parlé may have to interview her again.
Big Tigger also walked the black carpet and spent a lot of his time hyping up the crowd.
Dj D-Nice was spinning the hottest tunes into the wee hours of night until Kid Capri showed us his skills.
