A Flite has established himself as one of the most engaging and versatile rapper-lyricist that Long Island has to offer, adapting his peculiar style to each beat implausibly. At the age of fourteen, that is when he discovered his rapping ability when he first met up wit Brooklyn’s native, female rapper, Bambue, who has been on tracks with the likes of Full Force, Raekwon, and Silk The Shocker. Intrigue by his drive to be successful, she encouraged him to continue writing. Through out the years, it is only right to say that the word “Flite” (flīt) at the end of his name represents that elevated status he brings to the mic. That’s how he got his aka name, “The Pilot.” Known for his unique flow and the ability to sway the crowd, a movement is on the verge of immerging off the island. Many believe A Flite to be the next big thing on the come up. “I haven’t seen a young artist that carries so much potential like this in a while, it is remarkable”, says, Marcfallen, VP of Global Music Brand label.
A Flite has been featured on a series of mixtapes like Shit like That, Tornado Gang Radio, and Don’t Listen to the Bloggers all hosted by Desert Storm’s own, Dj Don Demarco. Also, he has been on Dipset’s own, Freekey Zeekey’s Open Mic mixtape and is a Coast2Coast mixtape artist.  When it comes to shows, A Flite has done events like, The Industry Showcase hosted by Power 105’s own, “The People’s Choice” Dj Envy, performed for StrongIslandHipHop.com, and opened up for Red Café, not to mention local shows all over NY. Back in March ’08, A Flite The Pilot was Artist of the Month with his song being played, Put Your Hands Up feat. Tone Trump, on one of New York’s hottest online music promotions, Whatspoppin.net.  “I go on Whatspoppin.net to see whats new & hot.” Kanye West – Rolling Stones. The Pilot also appeared in a issue of WWS Magazine in the “Whats Hot!” indie section.
Ready to carry Long Island on the journey he’s about to embark, he is set to take off.  A Flite’s rapping is incomparably impressive, capturing the ear of those that listen with each line that is being spoken into the mic. With a flow that packs force behind it, yet down to earth lyrics that are many can relate to, A Flite raps in a universal language that everyone can understand.
