It’s official, The Nets are now Brooklyn’s home team. Love it or hate it, we’re stuck with the team that had 35 unsuccessful seasons in New Jersey. If they can keep Darren Williams, Brook Lopez & Kris Humphreys this off season they’ll have a decent team to build around, but they’ll need to make some big moves in the Draft and in free agency if they don’t want to be boo’ed right out of the Barclay’s Center.
The colors are fitting for a Brooklyn team. Makes perfect sense that the logo was designed by Jay-z, one of the minority owner of the team. The Brooklyn Nets will be the only team in the NBA with the Black and White color scheme, not quite the gray and Black of the San Antonio Spurs team.
Brooklyn gear will sell out fast… if they can win some games. But for now we just have to have faith on the Brooklyn Nets.
